My Friday feeling yoga pose this week is pigeon!
I have always loved this pose but I found a whole deeper appreciation for the power of this pose today. I went to a hot power yoga class this morning and we held our pigeon for 5mins on each side....
I always feel a massive release in pigeon as I find my hips and tops of my thighs can be quite tight but this was just a different level. The tightness gave way to a pulling moving almost ache as the whole muscle stretched and then a great feeling of release when the muscle relaxed.... try it! It burns but it is not unbearable... just use your breath!
